Comtemporary - Transitional - Traditional

I‘ve noticed a growing trend in interior design: taking abstract art that may have only been used in contemporary settings in the past and featuring it in traditional and classical décor.

Many are discovering that abstract art can play an important role in any setting.

So the next time you you think something isn’t transitional, think again—the rules of design are changing.

What makes a piece of art fit a traditional or contemporary setting? It is partly the color and composition, but it’s also the feelings and emotions it evokes. We’ve found that many of my pieces, for example ‘Autumn Musings’, work great in both environments. With the piece ‘Autumn Musings’, the forms suggest fabric caught in the breeze, and the colors are as rich and timeless as you’ll find in the old masters’ works.
